Linens: A pillow and sheets are provided when staying as a resident in the residence halls, and the rooms are NOT air conditioned. We are located on the 1st Floor so the rooms are cooler and all the lounges are air conditioned. We recommend bringing a fan.
Cell Phones: You’re welcome to bring a cellphone; however, we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property. If you need to make an emergency phone call, contact your counselor or coach and they will assist you.
Meals/Snacks: Three meals a day are included in your resident fee for full days, with lunch and dinner provided in the commuter fee. You may purchase snacks at the convenience shop, vending machines, or bring snacks from home to keep in your room. There are no refrigerators in the residence hall rooms that we are aware of. The convenience store does sell snacks and drinks, however they are only open at night.
Showers: You will need to bring a towel, wash cloth and all toiletries. Shower facilities in the dorms vary from private shower stalls to a general shower area.
Clothing/Soccer Attire: Please bring all necessary soccer clothing including soccer shoes, running shoes, shin guards, shorts, t-shirts, rain gear, sandals, etc. A swimsuit is not required however we may have the opportunity to use the pool in the Wellness & Recreation Center (WRC).
Alarm Clock: Although a counselor will wake you up in the morning for breakfast, we recommend bringing an alarm clock.
Soccer Specific Gear: In addition to the soccer attire listed above, make sure to bring a SOCCER BALL, Shinguards, water bottle and comfortable soccer shoes. We do NOT recommend buying new cleats for camp. In case of inclement weather, we recommend bringing rain gear and/or clothing for cooler weather. We may have the opportunity to have camp inside the UNI-Dome on the turf. This is an outstanding air-conditioned facility.
Sunscreen & Bug Spray: Camp is expected to be warm so bring enough sunscreen for all sessions. I would bring bug spray in the event the morning and evening practices are wet and “buggy”.
